Joe Keery, best known for his role as Steve Harrington on Stranger Things, has had an impressive start to 2026. Following the premiere of the series finale, his hit song “End of Beginning,” released under his musical project Djo (pronounced “Joe”) took off on the charts, with the song rising to number 1 on global Spotify and number six on the Billboard Hot 100. He then spent the past week going absolutely viral for his appearance at the 83rd Annual Golden Globes on January 11th, 2026. Keery presented the award for Best Original Song – Motion Picture at the 83rd Annual Golden Globes on January 11th, 2026 alongside Charli XCX. The honor ultimately went to the song “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters.
It was Keery’s arrival to the awards show, however, that fans went wild for on social media. The transformation of his hair to a bleach-blonde color and a sharply tailed look featuring a white suit coat paired with black pants, drew a ton of attention on TikTok and Instagram all week.
