Hawkins and part of the Party is returning to Dead By Daylight (DBD) with a second collaboration between the game and Stranger Things. This new DLC will add “The First” (Vecna) as a villain with Dustin Henderson and Eleven being added as survivors. The newest chapter drops on January 27th, 2026 for PC, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
For anyone who hasn’t played DBD, the game is a multiplayer game where four survivors faceoff against a killer. The survivors must avoid being caught by the killer while working to fix five generators. Both the survivors and killers are able to have special perks. The Stranger Things collaboration is just one of many for the game, which has released over 45 DLC packs, many in collaboration with horror films, TV series, and other games.
Venca will have a number of special perks, being described as a highly mobile killer, with a specialized “vine attack.” The character is able to fast travel through the upside down and emerge from the ground to surprise survivors, with his attacks placing a curse on the survivors. Dustin and Eleven have special abilities of their own, with Dustin being able to booby trap windows and convert toolboxes into medkits. Eleven’s abilities focus on information, being able to see the auras of objects and the killer. Fans from season 4 will recognize the grandfather clocks spawned throughout the map. These are essential to the survivors as interacting with them can reduce the duration of Vecna’s curse.

Two legendary outfits are also being released, featuring the characters Robin Buckley (a skin for Nancy Wheeler’s character), dressed in a Scoops Ahoy outfit, and Eddie Munson (a skin for Dustin’s character).
Dead By Daylight first teamed up with the Stranger Things series back in 2019, releasing DLC for the game that added the Demogorgon, Steve Harrington, and Nancy Wheeler. The DLC also included a new map of Hawkins National Laboratory and a legendary outfit for Jonathan Byers. This DLC was briefly pulled and unable to be purchased from 2021 to 2023 due to licensing issues, but is now available again.
This is the third recent crossover between the series and a game. Stranger Things content was also just recently released for Fortnight and Minecraft, giving fans so many unique ways to experience the lore and engage with their favorite characters.
